Terraced Falls
While in eastern Idaho, my family wanted to see as much water as possible. As you will see below, we saw a lot of water features. This is Terraced Falls, near old faithful. We went to Yellowstone and Harriman State Park.
Great Fountain Geyser
This is great fountain geyser, which can be found in the lower geyser basin. We drove up as it was going off and I was able to capture this great photo of the water in motion. I love the clouds in the sky and the dark trees in the back ground.
Harriman State Park
I captured this in Harriman State Park. If you live the Rexburg area I would highly recommend going to this State park. The vistas are breath taking and it never seems to be over crowed with people.
Silver Lake Drive
The lake that can be found in the photograph above is called Silver Lake, in Harriman State Park. I love how this road curves off into a forest. I think this may be my favorite picture I have had the opportunity to capture this semester. Fun fact, my house growing up was on a street named called Silver Lake Drive.
Another one
I used this leaf to blur the back ground of Silver Lake. I touched up the background and made the clouds slightly lighter. Please let me what you think in the comments below.
Hayden Valley
I have been to Yellowstone many times in my young life, but I have never seen Hayden Valley quite as exquisite as this. The dark clouds looming ominously above your head, the snow capped mountains in the back ground with the ground covered in decaying leafs.
Bison
The night before traveling into Yellowstone, I showed my family all the horrifying videos of cars and people getting too close to wildlife in Yellowstone. This was a mistake, my nephew freaked out when there was a bison 10 meters from the road. I defiantly learned my lesson their.
Coyote
Can toy find the coyote in this picture? Hint: its near the tree.
Mesa Falls
I love how this shot turned out. I edited out like 10 people and a catwalk. I also darkened the darks and lightened the light. I think this turned out great.
Down River
For this picture, I took the same edits as the Mesa Falls edit and used them here with one exception. I took out a balloon that was in one of the trees. Do you think you can spot my bad editing job?
